SoilHue (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

SoilHue processes all images and data locally. Nothing is uploaded to external servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Analyse soil samples and generate Munsell classifications
  • Store your analyses on‑device for later review
  • Export data (CSV / JSON) only when you request it

We never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Retention

All data—images, coordinates, notes—is kept in the app’s private storage or your photo library.
Delete the app or clear its data to remove everything permanently.

4. Sharing Information

Data export is under your control. You decide when, what and where to share.

5. Your Rights

You can, at any time:

  1. Access your locally stored data
  2. Export it in CSV or JSON
  3. Delete it from within the app
  4. Revoke permissions (Camera, Location, Photos) via Settings → Privacy

6. Security

We use industry‑standard measures to keep data safe on your device. Because there is no server communication, risks are limited to local device access.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this document. Significant changes will appear here under a new “Last updated” date.
